I had to look up what Bad rats was, that is possibly the strangest game I have ever seen.

Thanks for the feedback. We actually started with even longer levels in our early prototypes, but I agree we probably  should have gone shorter again. Glad you like the aesthetic, I also really love the way your game looks!

Thanks for playing! We do actually have a challenge mode that does limit the amount of parts you can place, we left the normal mode as default to make it easier to learn the game.

Got through it this time, genuinely enjoyed it!

fun little puzzle, watching the goo expand is oddly hypnotic, I wonder what it would look like on like 10x the scale.

Even though I saw the game crashed if you maxed the sliders I still did it like 5 times :S

super polished and lots of fun little things to interact with.

The idea of slinging the bullets back is super cool, the most fun I had was collecting a bunch of them and smashing something in one shot.

I died a number of times thinking I was just collecting a bullet, it would be cool to have an indicator showing how close they needed to be to be caught. Or maybe have them just shoot alternate bullets that you could catch.

I suck at these games though so maybe other people wouldn't have as much trouble, story was fun too, Pluto getting it's revenge.

spaceships look awesome. was expecting to have to "park" the spaceships and was surprised when I could crash them into each other lots, but the challenge was still there.

Favourite game of the jam I've played, really hope you expand it to a full game.

Loved the low poly+pixel art textures, the character is badass and the look of the game as you fly around is awesome.

I kind of never wanted to land, especially because I just missed the platforms a lot, once I worked out you could reel in with the jump button it was a bit easier to control.

The slash never felt great to me, would have liked a lock on attack or even a gun or something instead.

super polished and heaps of fun.

Sound and animations made the movement really fun, once I worked out how to place the gravity wells it was interesting playing with that.

The little dialogue messages were cute, enjoyed it.

I love the shield deflecting the little bullets, super cool mechanic. I wish there was more different ways to use it like deflecting things at switches or something, even being able to fully destroy the droids would be nice.

I died a lot coz I'm bad, but it was good fun.

Awesome music, I'm super bad at these games, but I had a lot of fun. It would have been nice if the regular enemies were more moon themed or something, but they looked cool.

the web version stopped for me after i did a shell dash while talking to the second friendly character.

agree with other comments about it being a bit slow at times. But it gave me more time to take in the lovely graphics, i love the level getting darker when you drain your mana.

Agreed, its the most frequent feedback we've gotten. We had hoped for a sort of natural discovery process, but didn't hit the mark, and the how to play screen has too much info that isn't presented very well.

Glad you liked the story though, and thanks for playing!

pixel art was awesome, and zipping around the map is super fun. Bosses were a nice way to break up the levels.

If i could give 6 stars for graphics I would. music loop grated a bit.

feels really good, funny little story bits, ran fine for me.

super fun, nice and chill aesthetic. Good challenge couldn't get past the little repulsors

the story that played at the start was kind of cool, but the part with the ship froze and I couldn't progress.
